Revamped Dell Vostro 1310, 1510 and 1710 Laptops Offer More Security, Less Weight
Computer giant Dell has officially announced the release of some revamped Vostro business laptops – the Dell Vostro 1310 laptop, the Dell Vostro 1510 laptop and the Dell Vostro 1710 laptop – which will all be available in North America next month. The makeover, spurred by small-business customer feedback, includes thinner and lighter designs, and more security features over comparable competitive laptops. The trio will feature slot-loading disc drives, fingerprint readers, the Trusted Platform Module 1.2, and pre-installed McAfee Total Protection for Small Business. The Vostro 1310 laptop is a 13.3-inch machine, weighing 4.6 pounds, and is priced from $749. The Vostro 1510 laptop is a 15-incher weighing in at 5.7 pounds, priced starting from $599. Pricing for the 17-inch Vostro 1710 laptop is not yet available. Dell.
