New Customizable HP Pavilion dv7z Laptop Now Available

Much to the delight of laptoppers everywhere, a new Puma-based laptop is hitting store shelves, courtesy of HP. The HP Pavilion dv7z laptop comes in a variety of configurations, including an Athlon X2 Dual Core processor clocked at up to 2.2GHz, up to 4GB RAM, the choice of ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics or 3450 256MB dedicated video card, and a single or dual hard drive with up to 500GB storage. The options don’t end there – choose the resolution for the laptop’s 17-inch display, and outfit it with either a DVD burner or a Blu-ray optical drive. New Centrino 2 Laptop – Medion Akoya S5610 Laptop

The new Medion Akoya S6510 laptop is the latest Centrino 2 laptop off the conveyer. The Akoya S6510 laptop is a 15.4-incher featuring a 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo P7350 processor, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 graphics with 256MB of RAM, a 320GB HDD and 3GB RAM. Dell Latitude XT Laptop Offering Free Multi-Touch Upgrade

First released last winter, the Dell Latitude XT laptop is now better than ever with a free and easy-to-install multi-touch upgrade, downloadable at the company’s website. The laptop’s latest touch capabilities allow users to scroll, zoom and program commands such as launching the web or on/off, by simply touching the screen with their fingers. “We introduced the Latitude XT as a revolutionary product in the tablet space,” said Jeff Clarke, Senior Vice-President, Dell Product Group. “Today Dell is taking that commitment to a new level with multi-touch functionality. New Lenovo IdeaPad Laptops Arriving Just In Time For Back-To-School

A new lineup of Lenovo IdeaPad laptops will be arriving this fall, and the IdeaPad Y530, Y430, Y730 and U330 laptops will delight laptoppers to no end. The most impressive of the release, the 13.3-inch IdeaPad U330 laptop (pictured) sports a Centrino 2 processor, HDMI and a built-in optical drive. Moving up on the size scale, the 14.1-inch IdeaPad Y430 laptop comes with WXGA resolution, optional Blu-ray and integrated graphics. The 15.4-inch IdeaPad Y530 laptop features Intel’s Centrino 2 P7350 processor with NVIDIA NB9M GS 256MB graphics, WXGA resolution and optional Blu-ray. The 17.1-inch IdeaPad Y730 laptop boasts a Centrino 2 P8400 processor, ATI M86 ME 512MB graphics and supports dual 320GB drives, WUXGA resolution and optional Blu-ray. The IdeaPad Y730 laptop is designed in entertainment- or gaming-specific models, with the latter of which sports a secondary display. New Laptops, Big and Small from Samsung – Samsung Eclipse R710, Q210 and Q310 Laptops

Word on the street is that Samsung will be releasing some new Montevina-based laptops – the Eclipse R710, Eclipse Q210 the Eclipse Q310 laptops. The first is a new desktop replacement, the Samsung Eclipse R710 laptop. Kicking under the newly designed colorful case of this 17-inch machine is a 2.53GHz P9500 Core 2 Duo processor and 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics. At the other end of the spectrum are a couple of super-small laptops with some big prospects. The Samsung Eclipse Q210 laptop measures 12.1 inches and boasts a 2.26GHz P8400 Core 2 Duo processor, while the slightly larger Samsung Eclipse Q310 laptop (pictured) comes in at 13.3 inches with a 2.4GHz processor. But both of these ultra-mobile models measure up with NVIDIA 256MB GeForce 9200M GS, 4GB RAM, a 320GB drive and a dual-layer burner. New Gigabyte Gear – M528, M700, W476V and W576V Laptops
Great laptops come in all shapes and sizes, and Gigabyte has just announced some coming attractions that laptop audiences are itching to get a sneak peek of before they hit the market.

Starting at with the smallest of the big news here, the Gigabyte M528 ultra-mobile laptop fits in the palm of your hand but does great things with an Intel Centrino Atom 800MHz processor, Linux operating system, Intel Poulsbo, 4GB SSD, integrated webcam, and a 4.8-inch touchscreen LCD display delivering a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels, all in a package weighing under 12 oz.

Next up for ultra-mobile releases is the new Gigabyte M700 laptop. This little laptop packs a punch with a 1.2GHz VIA C7-M processor, 2GB RAM, up to 60GB HDD and Windows Vista Home Premium operating system. The list continues, with an Express Card slot, 3.5G high-speed connectivity, WiMAX, a twin-lens camera, GPS and a seven-inch touchscreen LCD display with 1,024-by-600-pixel resolution and weighing just 1.4 pounds.
Moving up the size scale, the Gigabyte W476V laptop and the Gigabyte W576V laptop measure 14.1 and 15.4 inches respectively and will come with an Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn Processor up to 2.8GHz, nVIDIA Geforce graphics (9300M GS graphics card with 256MB memory for the W476V model, and 9600M GS with 512MB memory for the W576V) and a 2.5-inch SATA HDD with 320GB.
