Cool New Crea Laptops Unveiled at IFA 2008
Turkish computer maker Crea has just released a handful of new laptops, unveiled at September’s IFA 2008 consumer electronics show. Here’s what they’ve got on the table (or in this case, one the lap), as reported by Laptops Arena.
Simply called the Crea laptop, this cool piece of machinery sports an Intel Core 2 Duo T8600 2.4 GHz processor, ATI Radeon HD3470 graphics card with 512MB memory, 2GB RAM and a 250GB HDD. High-speed connectivity comes via Wireless LAN with draft N support. A built-in DVD burner tops off this model.
Next up, the Crea NW laptop is an entertainment laptop boasting a sleek mirror finish and a 14-inch, 1,280-by-800-pixel anti-glare display with a DVD burner, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, high-definition audio, and for connectivity, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity.
The Crea NC laptop is a little more understated with its cool metal finish. Inside, you’ll find a 2GHz with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor complemented by Nvidia 8400 PCI-E graphics with 512MB graphics memory, topped off with integrated DVD burner and 1.3-megapixel webcam, and wireless Internet connectivity.
The Crea NU laptop is the low-cost alternative of the bunch, featuring a 1.86GHz Intel Celeron M 540 processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 256MB graphics memory, 80GB HDD, DVD burner and wireless connectivity wrapped in a compact 14-inch chassis.
Last but not least, the Crea NX laptop is the powerhouse, sporting a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 512MB GeForce Go 8700 GT graphics, up to 4GB RAM and a 320GB HDD. The 17-inch anti-glare display offers crisp visuals to go with the SRS WOW Surround sound system. The laptop also comes equipped with a DVD burner, and Bluetooth connectivity.
