Customizable, High-Performance OCZ DIY Gaming Laptop
OCZ Technology is venturing into uncharted territory with the announcement of the new OCZ DIY gaming laptop. This build-your-own laptop lets the laptopper build a high-performance laptop with a custom configuration in a few simple steps. The seven-pound DIY gaming laptop will feature a 15.4-inch WXGA display, and comes outfitted with NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics, Intel PM965 northbridge/ICH8M southbridge, SATA support for HDDs or SSDs, 8x dual-layer DVD burner, four USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard 34/54 slot, a fingerprint reader, and optional Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a TV tuner and Intel 4965AGN 802.11a/g/n wireless adapter. The DIY gaming laptop will be available later this year, but no details yet as to price. OCZ Technology.
