Everex Cloudbook MAX Laptop
Making its debut at CTIA 2008, the brand new Everex Cloudbook MAX laptop is small in size and big on features. The Cloudbook MAX laptop boasts an 8.9-inch WVGA 1,024-by-600-pixel display, and runs on a 1.6GHz VIA C7-M ULV processor with the VX800 digital media IGP chipset, delivering full DirectX 9 support and video acceleration for MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV9, VC1 and DivX video formats, and a VMR-capable HD video processor. The Cloudbook MAX laptop comes with 80GB HDD, 2GB DDR2 RAM, and Windows Vista operating system. Connectivity includes 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth, and topping it off are the integrated GPS receiver and a 2-megapixel webcam. Pricing details are not yet available for the new Cloudbook MAX, which features integrated support for Sprint’s XOHM WiMAX network, but you can expect it to start shipping in North America closer to year’s end.
