First Gesture-Control Laptop – Toshiba Qosimo G55 Laptop

Toshiba has just announced the pending release of the first gesture-control laptop, the Toshiba Qosimo G55 laptop. For the gamers out there, the Qosimo G55 laptop is the first to feature a dedicated Quad Core HD processor which allows for fast video encoding and gesture control, in which a webcam senses your hand movements from up to 10 ft. away and uses them to manage your laptop’s audio and video functions. Making a big impression in more ways than one, the large 18.4-inch Qosimo G55 laptop boasts a sleek exterior with a black chassis, LED lighting, metal accents and some pretty cool specs. At 10.8 pounds, the Qosimo G45 comes equipped with Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT graphics, 4GB RAM, dual 250GB hard drives, stereo speakers and a subwoofer, a 1,680-by-945-pixel display, FM tuner, and runs Windows Vista Home Premium operating system. The laptop will be available in July at a price of $1,549. Toshiba
