First Xeon Quad Core laptop released in the U.S. – XtremeNotebooks Xtreme 917V Laptop
The XtremeNotebooks Xtreme 917V laptop is the first Xeon Quad Core laptop released in the U.S. The Xtreme 917V professional-grade mobile workstation and server laptop comes equipped with a 45nm Intel(R) Penryn processor, high-capacity Blu-Ray drive storage, RAID 0/1/5 arrays, dual SLI nVIDIA 8800 or Quadro FX series graphics cards and up to 4GB RAM. "Our clients have been asking for this system for a long time now," said XtremeNotebooks President Steven Nichols. "We're ready to deliver with over a terabyte of high speed storage, a tried and true XEON Quad Core server CPU and soon 8 Gigs of system RAM – mobile servers are finally here!"
