The laptop’s subtle yet stylish Fusion finish spills from its 13.3-inch lid under the hood onto the palm rest and glossy full-sized keyboard, which is accented with bright white LEDs. Aside from its classy encasement, the 4.7-pound Satellite U405-S2830 laptop is full on features, like a 2.1-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 processor, integrated graphics chipset, 3GB RAM, 250GB HDD, a built-in dual-layer DVD burner, FireWire and three USB ports that charge your gadgets even when your laptop is turned off, a 4-in-1 card reader, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, booming stereo speakers and a fingerprint reader. And because good things come in threes, you know that aside from looks and works, the Satellite U405-S2830 laptop has another high point – the price, making it ideal for college kids.
