Performance, Durability, Plenty of Options: Getac V100 Rugged Laptop
Getac has released another hard-hitting laptop to its already beefy series of equally beefy laptops. The Getac V100 rugged laptop is as notable for its durability as it is for performance. This tablet-turned laptop offers the convenience of a convertible, allowing for a 180-degree rotating display. Inside, the laptop features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 2GB RAM and a 250GB HDD. In operating systems you have the choice of Vista Business, Windows XP Pro, or XP Tablet PC 2005. The V100 laptop also sports a long list of bells and whistles, including Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, a GPS and a waterproof camera. The 10.4-inch or 12.1-inch LCD display (that's right, you get a choice of that too!) comes with a backlight option. Performance-wise, this laptop stands up to any test. As for hardiness, the V100 laptop comes in a magnesium alloy chassis that complies with MIL-STD810F and IP54 standards, is shock resistant and can withstand -20°C temperatures. Getac.
