Hot New Pink Ming Jong MID Ultra-Mobile Laptop
Taiwanese computer maker Ming Jong has released a new Mobile Internet Device (MID) in a glossy pink package that’s as pretty as it is functional. The new Ming Jong MID MJNB401 ultra-mobile laptop weighs just two pounds, but packs a big punch in its small yet sturdy chassis. In terms of physique, this little laptop is a looker, boasting a small and sweet seven-inch TFT LCD display offering 800-by-480-pixel resolution, an 80-key keyboard and a capacitive touchpad, wrapped in a shock-proof case. The MID MJNB401 ultra-mobile laptop is powered by the 336MHz Ingenic JZ4730 processor and comes with a 1GB SSD and 128MB SDRAM memory to run the Linux-based or Microsoft Windows XP operating system. Extras include an integrated 1.3-megapixel webcam, a built-in mic, two built-in speakers, audio jack in and out, LAN connectivity and a memory card reader. The battery will keep you going for around 3.5 hours. The company has not gone public yet with availability or pricing details. Ming Jong.
