HP EliteBook 2230, 2530 and 2730 Laptops “For the Corporate Road Warrior”
Adding to its quickly growing line of EliteBook business laptops, HP has just announced three new laptops designed “for the corporate road warrior.” The new HP EliteBook 2230, 2530p and 2730p laptops are inspired by aircraft construction with their sleek look and awesome durability. “HP continues to distinguish the EliteBook brand with sophisticated, innovative designs that combine military-standard durability with easy-to-use features and the right levels of performance,” says Keith LeFebvre, vice-president and general manager, Business Notebooks, Personal Systems Group – Americas, HP. “These great-looking notebooks can withstand the rigors of the road, meet the most demanding tasks and keep up with the ever-changing mobile lifestyle.”
The 12.1-inch EliteBook 2530p laptop is touted as HP’s smallest and lightest laptop, offering brains and brawn in its 3.19-pound package. Packed in the HP DuraCase – a brushed anodized aluminum exterior with a magnesium alloy chassis – the EliteBook 2530p laptop comes with an ultra-small 1.8-inch hard drive with built-in optical drive, or choose the 2.5-inch hard drive. The EliteBook 2530p will retail for $1,499.
The EliteBook 2730p laptop is a lightweight convertible tablet laptop, weighing in at just 3.7 pounds, and an incredible 1.11 inches thin. Aside from its swivel screen that takes it from laptop to tablet with a simple twist, new features like the built-in touchpad, tablet buttons and a jog dial make the EliteBook 2730p laptop easy on the go. The EliteBook 2730p laptop will retails for $1,670.
Last but certainly not least, the new EliteBook 2230 laptop is the low-cost laptop with lots to offer. Weighing in at a hair over 4 pounds, this laptop is made for mobility. The 12.1-incher is simple in style, boasting a black-on-black finish. The laptop keeps you connected with WLAN and built-in Bluetooth wireless, and comes with HP 3D DriveGuard which senses sudden movement and goes into protective mode, keeping the hard drive form getting all shaken up. The EliteBook 2230 laptop will retail for $999.
The three new EliteBook laptops will be available in early September. HP.
