Japan’s New Dosupara Prime Note Cartina UM Ultra-Mobile Laptop

Japanese computer-maker Dosupara Sadouebu this week has officially unveiled its new, ultra-mobile, low-cost laptop – the Dosupara Prime Note Cartina UM laptop. The Prime Note Cartina UM laptop ships with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, Mobile Intel 945 GSE chipset, 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 120GB HDD, a 1,024-by-600-pixel display, 802.11b/g WiFi and pre-installed Linux operating system. Yes, this ultra-mobile laptop offers all the usual suspects, but its big claim to fame is in its small size – a super-compact 8.9-incher tipping the scales at just 2.4 pounds. And vying for laptoppers’ attention is this laptop’s equally awesome price – just $413, now available for purchase in Japan. Dosupara Sadouebu.
