“Laptop For Fine Living” – BenQ Joybook R45 Laptop
BenQ is calling its newest creation – the BenQ Joybook R45 laptop – the “laptop for fine living.” Its stylish, leather-clad exterior sets the tone for what’ll you’ll find when you flip open its 14.1-inch WXGA display. The Joybook R45 laptop features a 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 processor and NVIDIA's GeForce 8400M graphics, and maxes out at 4GB DDR2 RAM. Additional features include an optional dual-layer DVD writer, 802.11b/g WiFi, optional Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, two-megapixel webcam and a 4-in-1 multicard reader. For connectivity the Joybook R45 sports four USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet/modem jacks, an HDMI output, VGA, ExpressCard slot, audio in/out, 4-pin and FireWire and the six-cell Li-ion will keep you running for 2.5 hours. Pricing hasn’t been publicized yet, but what we can tell you is the Joybook R45 laptop will be bypassing the U.S. on its current tour, which will make it available in China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and Russia later this month.
