Lenovo’s First Consumer Netbook – Lenovo IdeaPad S10 Laptop

It’s China or bust for the new Lenovo IdeaPad S10 laptop, followed by a stop in the U.S. The company’s “first consumer netbook” comes in the form of the smart, 10.2-inch IdeaPad S10 laptop which wraps some impressive specs in its simple chassis. The Atom-powered IdeaPad S10 laptop comes with up to 1GB RAM, 160GB of storage, and comes preloaded with Windows XP and the Linpus operating system to follow. The small-but-sweet LED-backlit display delivers a resolution of 1,024 by 600 pixels. The laptop also comes with a multi-touch touchpad, WiFi, Bluetooth, ExpressCard, 4-in-1 card reader and a 1.3-megapixel webcam. The IdeaPad S10 laptop will be available in China on September 5, and will be arriving stateside in early October.
