Looming Lenovo ThinkPad Laptops: X200, SL, T and R Series Laptops
These days, good things come in fours. The ThinkPad X200 laptop, the Lenovo ThinkPad SL laptop, the Lenovo ThinkPad T laptop, and the Lenovo ThinkPad R laptop are proof. Wrapped in a magnesium alloy exterior, the new 2.93-pound ThinkPad X200 laptop features a 12-inch WXGA display with a 2.4 GHz 45nm Core 2 Duo processor running show, accompanied by Intel Centrino 2 with vPro technology, up to 64GB SSD, DDR3 RAM, and rounded out with a 1.3-megapixel camera, three USB ports, a DisplayPort connector, and WiMAX / WWAN / GPS / WiFi / UWB / Bluetooth.
Next up is the ThinkPad SL series of laptops (pictured). The ThinkPad SL300, SL400 and SL500 laptops are 13.3 inches, 14.1 inches and 15.4 inches respectively, and run on Core 2 Duo processors with integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD or discrete NVIDIA GeForce 9300 graphics, ExpressCard, FireWire, USB, an optional Blu-ray drive, and equipped with WWAN / WiMAX / WiFi / Bluetooth / GPS.
The new ThinkPad T series of laptops will include the T400 laptop and the T500 laptop. Measuring in at 14 and 15 inches, they offer Intel Centrino 2 with vPro up to 2.8GHz, optional 64GB SSD / 320GB HDD, 512MB ATI Mobility FireGL V5700 graphics, DDR3 RAM and WWAN / WiMAX / WiFi / Bluetooth.
Bringing up the rear, the ThinkPad R series of laptops includes the R400 laptop and the R500 laptop, at 14.1 and 15.4 inches respectively, with Montevina Penryn Core 2 Duo processors, up to 320GB HDD, up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD or discrete ATI Mobility Radeon 3470 graphics and USB / FireWire / ExpressCard / VGA slots.
