Starting with the outside, the new 11.1-inch ultra-portable laptop is strong and sexy. The durable exterior boasts a glossy swirl motif that hints at what you’ll find inside. Open ‘er up and it’s gloss all the way, from the keys and the screen right down to the palm rests. The LED-backlit display is crisp, clear, and colors are vivid, delivering a resolution of 1,366 by 768 pixels, which can be viewed from virtually any angle. For a price of $1,999, the IdeaPad U110 laptop comes configured with a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo L7500 processor, and comes with GMA X3100 graphics, 3GB DDR2 RAM and 120GB hard drive, integrated DVD burner, built-in stereo speakers, and face-recognition technology, all wrapped in a 2.3-pound package.
