New ADM-Powered Sharp Mebius FW-Series Laptop
Japan is bracing itself for the arrival of a brand-new sharp-looking little laptop from, you guessed it – Sharp. The new Sharp Mebius FW-series laptops will be arriving later this month. The Mebius PC-FW50X laptop features a bright white exterior and a 15.4-inch WXGA display, and it comes with a 2GHz Mobile Sempron 3600+ processor, 2GB RAM and a 120GB hard drive. Additional specs include a dual-layer DVD burner, PCMCIA slot, four USB 2.0 ports and a 4-pin FireWire connector, WiFi, Ethernet, a multicard reader, VGA output and a rechargeable Li-ion battery. The PC-FW50X laptop starts from approximately $1,467. Also coming in late April, the Mebius PC-FW70X laptop will feature a dark exterior and a 1.9GHz Turion 64 X2 TL-58 processor, priced at around $1,613. Sharp.
