The new Acer Aspire Gemstone collection has four new models – the Acer Aspire 8930, 6930, 5735 and 4730 laptops. These mobile multi-media machines come equipped with a laundry list of cool features for the entertainment enthusiast. The high-end Aspire 8930 laptop features a larger-than-life 18.4-inch display with a native resolution of 1080p and a Blu-ray drive to make the most of this beautiful display. Topping off this laptop is a powerful 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo processor, Nvidia GeForce 9700M GT 512MB and 4GB RAM, at a retail price of $1,700. Next up, the Aspire 6930 laptop caters to the movie crowd with a nice 16-inch display, a 2.0GHz processor, 3GB RAM and discrete graphics. The Aspire 6930 laptop retails for $700. Finally, for the cost-conscious laptopper, the Aspire 5735 and 4730 laptops measure in at 15.6 and 14.1 inches respectively, and come equipped with a 2.0GHz Intel Dual-Core Mobile processor, 2GB RAM and integrated graphics, retailing for $550.
