New Fujitsu Amilo Sa 3650 Laptop gets a GraphicsBooster
Gaming and graphics aficionados will love this cool little laptop, fresh from Fujitsu Siemens Computers. The new Fujitsu Amilo Sa 3650 laptop gets a big boost with the industry’s first external graphics solution called the Amilo GraphicsBooster. “The GraphicBooster is a truly revolutionary solution, offering incredible versatility and scalability by allowing notebooks to switch between everyday computing and hard-core gaming with a simple plug-in that’s portable enough to enable powerful 3D performance on-the-go,” according to Ian McNaughton, Senior Product and Platform Marketing Manager, AMD. “Powered by ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870, the GraphicBooster redefines what mobile graphics is all about, allowing users to choose notebooks with slim, lightweight designs, yet enjoying the superior performance of a traditional desktop gaming rig wherever it’s convenient, with outstanding mobility and battery life. The combination of the Amilo Notebook Sa 3650 and the GraphicBooster make this an industry-changing solution.” Adding just 0.5kg to the laptop’s overall weight, GraphicsBooster delivers a 470-per-cent increase in performance, along with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870 graphics card with 512 MB GDDR3 dedicated memory for 3D gaming, HD videos and visuals, along with DVI-I and HDMI connectivity. All together, this 2.4-kg Amilo Sa 3650 laptop has a lot to offer, including a 13.3-inch BrilliantView display complemented by 7.1 high-definition audio courtesy of S/PDIF; an AMD X2 Dual Core mobile processor; ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics; 4GB RAM; a 320GB HDD; wireless N support, Bluetooth 2.1; eSATA port; a 15-in-1 card reader. The list continues with a DVD burner, a Logitech QuickCam webcam, and a spill-resistant keyboard. The Amilo Sa 3650 laptop will be available this December. Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
