New Gaming Powerhouse – Alienware M17 Laptop
Mobile gaming guru Alienware has officially let the cat out of the bag on its new Alienware M17 laptop. Gamers with love this - the M17 laptop boasts ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870 CrossFire X for unprecedented mobile graphics. "ATI CrossFireX dual-GPU technology brings enhanced scalability and performance along with full DirectX 10.1 support," says Alienware. "ATI PowerPlay allows the M17 to monitor GPU usage and adjust the graphics power according to current resource requirements." The 17-inch M17 gaming laptop also comes equipped with an Intel Core 2 Extreme processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, and either 320GB 7200RPM HDD or 500GB 5400RPM HDD. Topping off the M17 laptop is a full-HD display, Blu-ray, WiFi and Bluetooth, and a full-sized illuminated keyboard and touchpad with scroll function, wrapped in a 9.5-pound package. The M17 laptop starts at a price of $1,399 for the base model, but tricked out it can run upwards of $3,500. Alienware.
