New Low-Cost Laptop For Kids – OLPC XOXO Laptop
OLPC has revealed a new design for its low-cost XO laptop. Geared towards the primary education market in developing nations, the new OLPC XOXO laptop will be more kid-friendly, and will come at a lower price. The XOXO laptop will be half the size of the original, resembling an e-book with dual sunlight-readable touch-screen displays, eliminating the need for a touchpad or keyboard. Also known as the XO-2 laptop or XO 2.0, the XOXO laptop will feature low power consumption - half of the original laptop, at 1 watt. Scheduled to make its first appearance in 2010, the XOXO laptop will retail for just $75. OLPC
