Sony Limited-Edition 007 VAIO TT Laptop Comes with a Mission
In line with the upcoming November 14 release of the new James Bond flick, "Quantum of Solace," Sony has announced its own limited-edition 007 Vaio TT laptop, along with its Mission for a Million promotion for laptoppers to compete for $1 million. Running through November 7, the mission calls on "agents" to use virtual Sony high-definition products like the 007 Vaio TT laptop - to solve missions in search of Sony's stolen HDNA. With each completed mission, consumers are entered to win $1 million and a trip to a top-secret location.
“Sony’s reputation for premium technology and great entertainment work well with Bond's legacy and innovation,” says Stuart Redsun, Senior Vice-President, Corporate Marketing for Sony Electronics. “The film's anticipated arrival is a perfect opportunity to tell Sony’s high-definition story to consumers in an interactive way.”
The limited-edition 007 Vaio TT laptop sports all the great Bond-worthy specs you'd expect - a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU9400; 4GB DDR3 RAM; a 250GB (dual 128GB RAID) SSD; Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n, Ethernet; Memory Stick Pro, SD slot; a built-in webcam; and a 2X speed Blu-ray burner. The stylish laptop also comes clad in a 007 logo and a matching protective leather case.
