Tough Enough? Rugged NEC Versa S9100 Laptop Can Take A Beating
This new laptop’s claim to fame is its tough yet super sleek exterior. The NEC Versa S9100 laptop is being called NEC’s toughest laptop to date, able to withstand 300 kg per sq. ft. of pressure. You can’t crack it open, and you can’t crack into it either, thanks to its combined fingerprint biometric sensor and TPM security chip technology. The Versa S9100 laptop boasts a 12.1-inch display, and inside, you’ll find a 1.2Ghz Core 2 Duo processor, Intel GMA X3100 graphics, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, DVD multi-writer optical drive and 801.11a/b/g/n wireless, tipping the scales at three pounds. The Versa S9100 laptop, which is expected to hit shop shelves in Singapore later this month, will retail for approximately $2,700. NEC
