Ultra-Mobile Laptop Sony Vaio P-Series – Rumor Mill


Hot Hardware has caught wind of some hot news regarding the “revolutionary new Vaio” on the Sony Japan and Sony New Zealand websites. The Sony Vaio P-Series laptop takes a slim and sleek form, and features a 1.33GHz Intel processor, up to 60GB HDD or 128GB SSD, and runs on the 32-bit Windows Vista Home Premium or Home Basic operating system. The eight-inch LED display delivers a resolution of 1,600 by 768 pixels. The new Vaio P-Series laptop is easily portable without compromising performance. Ultra-Mobile Laptop HP Compaq Mini 700 – Available in Europe


With no official details yet from HP or Compaq, Notebook Italia has taken the reigns in providing the scoop on the latest ultra-mobile laptop release with the new HP Compaq Mini 700 laptop. The laptop, which is now available overseas, packs lots of goodness in its 10-inch frame. The Mini 700 laptop sports a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, GMA950 integrated graphics, 1GB DDR2 RAM and Windows XP Home running the show. As for extras, the Mini 700 laptop comes loaded with a webcam and microphone, a built-in card reader, Ethernet, and ports aplenty including audio in/out and a couple of USB 2.0.
