World’s Lightest Laptop with a 128GB SSD – Toshiba Portege R500-S5007V Laptop
The latest and greatest of Toshiba’s Portege laptop line is being touted as the world’s lightest laptop with a 128GB solid state drive. The Toshiba Portege R500-S5007V laptop weighs a mere 2.4 pounds and packs some big specs for such a little guy. The Portege R500-S5007V laptop features a 12.1-inch transreflective LED display delivering a high-brightness 1,280-by-800 picture with easy viewing both indoors and out. Under the hood, the laptop sports Intel’s Core 2 Duo U77006 CPU, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 9509, 2048 PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM8, 128GB SATA SSD, 8x DVD-SuperMulti drive, Intel Wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR. The Portege R500-S5007V laptop retails for $2,999. Toshiba.
